Laura Foo
Bachelor of Commerce

We couldn’t be prouder to welcome Laura Foo to the alumni community!

Laura is graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in both economics and marketing, and will soon be starting her graduate consulting position with Deloitte!

She credits a lot of her success to her involvement with the Economics Student Society of Australia, where she’s held the role of Marketing Officer, and the national and international case competitions she’s competed in and hosted right here at The University of Melbourne.

But it’s not all business for Laura. She makes it clear that it was through the friends and connections she made during her degree that her success was made possible!

“I would say that half of my learning occurred in the classroom, and the other half occurred outside, where I was pushed by my group of friends who are all incredibly self-driven, passionate about their own causes, and consistently encouraging.”
