Chancellor's Circle

The Chancellor’s Circle is a community of generous benefactors who demonstrate leadership and commitment to the University of Melbourne through annual gifts of $1,000 or greater.*

With more than 1,400 affiliates, the Chancellor’s Circle plays an important role in supporting the University’s pursuit of innovative research, high-quality teaching and learning, and support for students.

Affiliates of the Chancellor’s Circle are invited to attend periodic Celebration of Giving events with University leaders, academic staff and students in recognition of the University’s gratitude for their ongoing support.

Affiliation with the Chancellor’s Circle extends to the end of the calendar year following the gift date, or until the gift is renewed.

Chancellor’s Circle G.O.L.D. affiliation is offered to Graduates Of the Last Decade and current students who have made annual gifts of $500 or greater.

Lifetime Affiliation to the Chancellor’s Circle recognises donors who have made a significant contribution to the University over their lifetime amounting to $100,000 or greater.

Chancellors Circle Celebration 2018

Celebration of Giving

The 2018 Chancellor’s Circle Celebration of Giving took place on 2 July 2018 and featured a private viewing of the “MoMA at NGV: 130 Years of Modern and Contemporary Art” exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria. Students and academics from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music provided pop-up talks on selected artworks in the galleries, offered musical entertainment, and incorporated a dance performance in Federation Court.
