For a confidential discussion you are welcome to contact us at +61 3 9035 4054 or email.

North America

United States

Through the generosity of donors in the United States, the University of Melbourne USA Foundation awards grants to the University of Melbourne and its affiliates, including colleges and the Melbourne Business School.

The Foundation is a non-profit organisation with a mission to support education, and specifically includes fundraising to support the University of Melbourne.

The Foundation welcomes gifts from individuals, foundations, and corporations in the US and is completely independent from any other US or Australian organization.

Support from the US

Canada

The Income Tax Act of Canada allows tax-deductible donations and gifts to prescribed universities overseas including the University of Melbourne. If you are interested in directing a tax-deductible gift or bequest to the University, you or your tax adviser can find the latest information in Section 3503 and Schedule VIII of the Income Tax Act.

United Kingdom

You can make a secure online donation to the University of Melbourne, or a residential college or affiliate through the Friends of the University of Melbourne Charitable Trust.

Support online from the UK

Important: The Trust offers an additional opportunity to maximize the impact of your gift. By donating to the Trust, and if you are a UK taxpayer, you enable Gift Aid to be claimed from the UK Government and added to your initial gift amount. You may also be entitled to claim higher rate tax relief. This means a minimum of 25% extra will be added to your gift, the combined total of which is available to the Trustees for grants to the University.
