Alumni discount on Orpheus in the Underworld
Presented in the stunning surrounds of The Ian Potter Southbank Centre, the new home of the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, Orpheus in the Underworld is a satirical treatment of the ancient Greek myth of Orpheus by the French composer Jacques Offenbach. Musical direction is by the renowned all-round musical entertainer, Guy Noble, who conducts, speaks and writes about music. Building on the recent success of Albert Herring, staging is by Jane Davidson and design by Matthew Adey, and the company comprises students of the Master of Music (Opera Performance).
