Julia Hicks is passionate about social and economic infrastructure. For more than 19 years she has worked in a diverse range of roles in the built environment, including at the coal face of the building and construction industry, transaction advisory and asset management.
For 10 years Julia served on the Property Council of Australia’s Infrastructure, Industrial and Logistics, and Future Directions committees in Victoria.
Julia currently sits on the Construction Advisory Board at the Faculty of Architecture, Building & Planning. She previously held the role of Chair of the Property & Construction Advisory Board, advising the faculty regarding the implementation of the Melbourne Model, course content, research and marketing. She continues to be a mentor in the faculty’s mentor program.
Julia is excited to represent the Faculty of Architecture, Building & Planning and Faculty of Engineering and to support the University’s and the faculties’ alumni relations programs and fundraising efforts.
