A/Prof Sarah Ellis is a cancer researcher at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Australia's largest comprehensive cancer hospital. She is a Faculty member of the Cancer Immunology Program and is head of the Advanced Microscopy and Histology Platforms.
Sarah has a passion for understanding the processes driving the onset and development of leukaemia and lymphoma using advanced state-of-the-art technology. Through collaborations with her colleagues, at Peter Mac and elsewhere, Sarah also helps drive a number of other cancer research projects through her expertise in imaging. Her ultimate aim is to discover novel therapeutic targets to combat cancer and increase longevity of patients suffering from cancer.
