Associate Professor Sarah Ellis is a cancer research scientist at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Australia's largest comprehensive cancer hospital. She is the Head of the Centre for Advanced Histology and Microscopy (CAHM) and a member of the Cancer Immunology Program.
Sarah has a passion for understanding the processes driving the onset and development of leukaemia and lymphoma using advanced state-of-the-art technology. In collaboration with her colleagues at Peter Mac and elsewhere Sarah also helps drive other cancer research projects through her expertise in imaging. Her ultimate aim is to discover novel therapeutic targets to combat cancer and increase longevity of patients.
