The collection management projects through the Museums and Collections Projects Program are aimed at students and alumni who would like to develop their professional skills within the sector. Volunteers have the opportunity to work behind the scenes with the University's many cultural collections, including those of the Baillieu Library, Ian Potter Museum of Art and Medical History Museum.
Each year a list of projects is developed. They're designed to be mutually beneficial so you gain professional development experience, while also adding real value to preserving and managing the University’s cultural collections. They typically run for a semester.
