Your chance for a double pass to 'Discordia'
27 September - 1 October
Eight of Melbourne’s wildest performance artists will lead audiences through the darkest corners of Arts Centre Melbourne in Discordia - an absurd and unforgettable experience narrated by the iconic voice of TV newsreader Lee Lin Chin.
The Discordiants form a sect of prawn-worshipping rose beige humans. These professional absurdists will attempt to prove that truth is stranger than fiction by forming an officially recognised religion in front of a live audience, using movement, an original score, sculpture and voice. This group of artists converted to Discordianism earlier this year have been building their church of Holy Chaos ever since.
The church unveiling will take place on Wednesday 27 September with recruitment drives happening for five consecutive nights.
Visit @discordiants to keep up to date with some very special celebrity guest announcements and propaganda.
Thanks to Arts Centre Melbourne, we have a double pass to give away for the opening night of 'Discordia' on Wednesday 27 September. For your chance to win, simply log in and answer the following question here by close of business on Thursday 20 September.
